It works great for me. I liked the looks . I just made some slight alterations to my preferences which was basically just increasing font size, moving task bar to the bottom, and changed the wallpaper as I like nature and space wallpapers. I then added the software that I liked and was good to go.
It looks much better to me than the other distros that I have tried without having to do a lot of alterations and modifications. I like that it is set up to be able to use apt, flatpak, pacstall, snap (if I really need to), nix, and appimages without my having to set them up individually. I was easily able to find and install (rpk is an awesome tool!) all of the software that I needed. I am low income but planning to send in a donation next month and ongoing.
I use it two laptops. One has limited specs and the other is far better. Rhino Linux runs great on both!
I started on Ubuntu back at version 8.04 and have tried out many distros since then.
